- 2001 CEIRP Fellow Statement After
graduating from Yale University, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali,
West Africa. While there, I worked on agroforestry programs and natural resource
management issues at the community level. My current graduate work focuses on
indigenous agroforestry knowledge and practices in Mali. I have also served as
a United Nations Election Monitor in Bosnia Herzegovina. I am very interested
in leading class discussions on sustainable agriculture and land use in the US.
