Fred
Werner is most interested in ecological interactions, especially
how people affect their environment, and how human alterations
to the environment affect wildlife. He has spent most of
the past 7 years in Central and South America, and is fluent
in Spanish. Fred's M.S. thesis research focuses on how birds
are affected by and can affect forest regeneration in Costa
Rica.
