Veronica is a second year graduate student working on a Masters in Regional Planning and a Masters in Engineering Management. She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is originally from Maplewood, New Jersey.

She is currently the Region One Vice Chairperson for the National Society of Black Engineers. As Vice Chairperson, she oversees a membership of over 2,000 college and high school students.

This is her first year as a CEIRP fellow. She is excited to share both her experiences in engineering and environmental planning to High School Students. Her goals for the program are to teach the students that there can be a balance between the built and natural environment. She hopes that they will have an awareness for the changes occurring in our world environmentally.
