Veronica
is a second year graduate student working on a Masters in
Regional Planning and a Masters in Engineering Management.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental
Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
She is originally from Maplewood, New Jersey.
She
is currently the Region One Vice Chairperson for the National
Society of Black Engineers. As Vice Chairperson, she oversees
a membership of over 2,000 college and high school students.
This
is her first year as a CEIRP fellow. She is excited to share
both her experiences in engineering and environmental planning
to High School Students. Her goals for the program are to
teach the students that there can be a balance between the
built and natural environment. She hopes that they will have
an awareness for the changes occurring in our world environmentally.
